Rick, your post was interesting and beautifully written, and I enjoyed it. However, I really see a difference between having spiritual values and believing in a supreme being of some sort. Buddhists have no God, and are highly spiritual, for example. The saying "God is Love" for you might have as part of its meaning that there is a God, while for me it might mean that Love is supreme, and that God is simply Good, the best within each of us.
