APII--600k float, and news today>APII to Launch Discovery Channel(R) Toys -- Action Products International, Inc. (Nasdaq: APII - news) today announced that it has secured a licensing agreement with Discovery Communications, Inc. to develop, manufacture, and market certain categories of toys bearing the Discovery Channel® brand name, logo, and motif. Initial shipments of the line are expected to be in stores in the lst Quarter of 1999. Management anticipates the agreement will generate substantial sales additions.
