best yet. hit my golf ball in the woods with GPS chip inside. Use cell phone with GPS to find it. saves me thousands of dollars

yeah, but do they float?

talk about progress - I have had a web page for 5 years - part of the same logic that leads me to invest in tech stocks - at 50 something, I want to stay young and grasp the knowledge and technology that will deliver the future - it is not sufficient to believe that a stock will perform - for me it is imperative that the company challenge my intellect, besides doing something that is innovative, cutting edge, creative, responsible and someday be part of our daily existence. And I want to know about it before the throngs do.

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said (paraphrasing) "the secret to success is figuring out where everyone else is going and get there before them." ?

Okay - back to the web page thing - I got so annoyed 5 years ago at the guy who charged me $25 for every change I wanted on my web page that I converted his retainer into lessons for me to do it myself and I have been ever since.

So for 5 years I have thought the web page was a nice way to appear to be innovative and cutting-edge, like a high class ad with no chance of a tangible return.

That is until last month, when all of a sudden I sold three works of art from the web page for well over 100 grand to 3 different people, none of whom saw the art until after they had laid out the cash and the art delivered.

Now that's efficiency!

and then there are those people who don't embrace the internet - for them I feel sorry.

and finally - it is incredibly funny how things change - the one class that I took in high school that I thought was the biggest waste of time turned out to be the most important - yup, typing.
