re: I would like to know who is the butthole that got the GOP party the moniker as the fiscally responsible party. I have never seen a party quiet so irresponsible when it comes to money. That's the NEW Republican party... not the traditional one, and not what (IMHO) people identify with. The Bush admin could never stand up to the scrutiny that the Clinton admin faced. With a Dem President and a Rep congress, it was an open field day. Hell, they are still playing the special prosecutor game 10 years after the fact! When/if the Dems get back in power, there will be hell to pay. We really need a third party with some integrity, just to pound some sense into these guys. Teach them the long lost art of political compromise... and governance. John
