has teamed with Data General, a Division of EMC Corporation
(NYSE:EMC), to launch its internet health portal,
www.healthyconnect.com. Data General will provide a consolidated
computing infrastructure to support the launch of HealthyConnect.com,
including hardware, software and network support.
Data General, a leader in providing simplified computing
solutions to the healthcare industry, will assist HealthyConnect.com
Inc. in building a reliable and powerful, consolidated information
technology infrastructure for Med-Emerg's network of patients and
medical facilities. Med-Emerg's solution will consist of Data General
AViiON(R) servers, EMC CLARiiON(TM) storage solutions, Internet
connections and the necessary clinic network and equipment for the
operation of HealthyConnect.com Inc.'s web browser applications.
