I haven't seen the balance sheets and reporting requirements for terrorist funding. Heck, it's hard enough keeping track of cash flow in publicly listed companies like Enron which have off balance sheet money movement.

Have you got links to their financial reporting?

It's a good bet that Iran does more terrorist funding than New Zealand, but perhaps Iraq does more than Iran. They have a more directly vested interest in terrorism aka resistance movement.

The language is getting misused when "terrorism" is used to describe a war zone. I suppose the USA and others were "terrorist" in bombing Hiroshima, Dresden etc, but in war, threatening and killing civilians who are supporting the opposition is common if not compliant with Geneva conventions.

The ideological civilian bombings around the world are funded more by the Saudis [I guess]. Those are terrorist attacks. A suicide bomber who blows up some American soldiers isn't a terrorist. Attacking the Pentagon,Cole and embassies is war, attacking the Twin Towers is terrorism.

But we are getting into semantics here.
