I understand that certain amount of PR work needs to be done to get the message out there. However it seems BAT is taking this PR stuff to it's very extreme and spending an inordinate time doing it. Besides why does Joe Lastella need to be involved in all this PR stuff anyway. Why don't they let either Bill Wason or Al Tilis handle all this Joe, it appears wants to be in the middle of everything. I guess he likes the action that comes with it. He spent almost 3-1/2 hours on Friday meeting with the folks from Yahoo and if I'm not wrong almost the entire day meeting with the woman from USA TODAY not too long ago.God only knows how much more time he is spending doing this PR stuff. I would rather see Joe Lastella the CEO of BAT focus on things that will generate revenues for the company.
