Just thinking out loud!

There is hope for big news! But I wouldn't be surprised if any announcement's concerning Portico and major carriers were held back until the last possible moment! The reason is simple if Bell South was ahead on the learning curve and ready to go forward they may decide to delay any announcement! Maybe no announcement at all, purely to create a competitive edge! The smaller re-sellers that are already marketing Portico are looking for an advantage now, the risk of problems occurring for them are small compared to a major carrier! Credibility issues? The first time available from a major carrier my be divulged during a huge mailing campaign. 1 week could be the difference of thousands of new subscribers.

Example: Major carrier decides Portico is a no miss proposition and decides to go forward but they require confidentiality up to major roll out!

1. Mass mailing
2. Telemarketing
3. TV adds
4. Newspaper
5. Target selling to selected companies

Have I made sense?

If one starts to offer Portico will they all scramble to meet competitions service offerings?

As I said before 1 week could mean millions in subscriber revenues over the next few years!

Rob

Buying on anticipation!
