Tirex Resources (TXX-V), Albania's newly elected Prime Minister, Edi Rama, is about to form a new government. He was elected in June, but he can not take control until the Albanian parliament reconvenes next week. Tirex is hoping for an orderly transition, but just in case, it applied and received an injunction prohibiting the government from relocating or reconfiguring any of its licenses or property boundaries. The company has also hired Sheila Copps as a special adviser. Ms. Copps is the former deputy prime minister of Canada and a former minister of environment. Her appointment came weeks after Prime Minister Rama announced that his cabinet would contain six women, up from one in the previous cabinet.
