I'm sure it was intended to be humorous, but I agree that there's something to it. I know how cranky I get when I'm overheated. OTOH, I'm too limp to do much of anything besides complain. I'd sure not strap on a vest bomb or tote around a machine gun if I were already too hot. Much better to strip down and unweight. <g>
