Washington, May 26: Actor/director Kevin Costner fell so much in love with a goldmine he saw in a TV ad that he decided to buy it. The 52-year-old insisted that he took the decision to purchase the goldmine in South Dakota, as he thought of getting rich by panning gold.
"I'm like everybody else at three in the morning, going, `Get the pencil... I'll just write that down. I would like to go pan for gold.' You always want to change your life," Contactmusic quoted Costner, as saying.
"I joined the prospector guys and then I went out and bought a goldmine, so I could go (panning)," he said.
Costner insisted on a fair deal with the company, but now fears that he got 'screwed' because till now he has not found any gold.
"I said, `Make sure you send me my patch,' because they forgot my patch (I get) when you belong to the association. "I just like doing that stuff. I get by myself," he said. |
