The fact remains that Israel agreed to the UN Partition of 1947. The Arabs did not, and six Arab armies attacked Israel. The current green line is the boundary of the truce agreed to in 1949. The Arabs tried again to destroy Israel in 1956, 1967 and 1973 and failed. Only Jordan and Egypt have ever recognized Israel and signed a peace with it. Syria, Lebanon, and all other Arab states remain in a state of truce.
