You had a cool grandma. But I think Kerry lost because he couldnt assure the over 60's that vote in droves that he could protect America. Rove scared the stih out of them and lined them up at the polls in huge numbers. We had one old codger who could barely walk going up and down the voting line crowing" bush, bush, bush, bush" This demographic group, as much or more than the fundies, got bush his 47% majority.
