Couple of things...Re the Found Rev War ship and what we can or can't do things about...

So much of what happens in the world we can't do anything about, but what we can, we should do....i.e. high gas prices, high food prices, people out of work because of energy costs, starving people in the world because of high energy costs, etc....is something we CAN and SHOULD be doing something about. The frustration is that our up-and-locked Congress chooses to stay in office and do absolutely nothing, except occasionally bleat about impeaching GWB.

A cousin lives in Iowa....we both heard 89 of the 93 counties there are waterlogged....She lives in one of the middle counties, and no floods, but the ground is totally saturated. Lives on a small hill, but has water in the basement from water in ground. Her husband is a trucker....Huge price of fuel is hindering big time what he can do!

I told her that across the nation, the truckers need to have a Million Man march just to make Congress understand that many of out here in the hinterland are furious they are doing NOTHING and have done NOTHING for entirely too many years.

It is our fault as well....we think we can't do anything about this bad news, and we keep voting these clowns into office. And MOST US citizens don't bother calling their Senators and Reps offices to tell them what we think.
