The UK spends less than half of what the American healthcare system spends per person for the same healthcare.

Yet Trump claims the NHS is "failing" so needs a big trade deal with the US to double their annual medical spending. Says it must be part of any UK trade deal.


The UK goes out for bid on pharma drugs typically paying deeply discounted prices like a total of £8.50 for medications, less than the copayment Americans pay for that medication in addition to the $420 their insurer or the US government pays.

I seriously doubt the UK is interested in importing any stupid.
