Libertarians and war

That was some interesting libertarian navel-gazing. What interested me most about it was that the underlying assumptions that libertarians must be for or against the Iraq war because of differing applications of libertarianism. It wasn't until the last paragraph of the last link that any pragmatism appeared:

"I’m skeptical that a top-down intervention will create the robust civil societies necessary for liberalism to thrive, though I’m open to persuasion."

I simply found it reckless to go off on such a half-assed adventure. Libertarianism has nothing to do with that.
