I understand the point of the article. My point was to highlight the motivation of Democrats who continue to bring the subject up as if it has some bearing on our current situation.

The writers motivation to rebutt the author was probably derived from the same Democrat mindset which has attempted to deligitimize the Bush Presidency by repeating the mantra "he didn't win the popular vote".

Let's face it, the anecdotal evidence that fraud took place in the election is strong, especially in Florida. But, I'm not going to re-visit all the data we argued about months ago.

Although some supporters of his attempted to tamper with the process, Gore still lost. In the final analysis, all he had to do was win his home state and he couldn't do it.
