Well, I don't know, Dipy....you have a point, and you have been around quite a while youself.... I'm basing my "triple" from the low on my current understanding that LSI will be good for at least $.52 in earnings in the '04 time frame, and close to a buck in '05. Once LSI "turns the corner", I see LSI trading at a PE of 25 on forward earnings.... and 25 X $.52 comes to 13 -- I only need 12 for my triple. If there is appears to be a good chance that LSI will actually come close to that buck/share in '05, I could see LSI trading above 20 during 2004. I assume you aren't going to allow me more than 12-13 months from the low for my projection, but I might be able to squeeze that "20" into the 13 month (from low) time frame.... just mho, of course.... but we had similar chances coming out of the '57 market, the '64 market, and our famous '74 market.... so we'll see if we get the same chance here...
