I'm such a wimp when it comes to these things

I don't blame you. When you depend on your computer every day you get over the urge to screw around with it. I'm still using lots of software that is several versions old because I got tired of all the problems that are brought about by using the latest version, got tired of being out there on the "bleeding edge". I guess this is why tech sucks so much now, nobody wants to be out there on that edge anymore.
