I updated a few days ago, and am running a live update now. I did open the emails in question. there were no attachments. dragging to the desktop to test it is a good idea, but it was from a friend of mine and had no reason to suspect anything. its getting very scary out there. i am not aware of any problem i do have NAV set to scan all incoming emails. my main question remains how do i test an email for contamination. i just tried dragging another email to the desktop, but i was not able to get the choice of scanning with NAV. larry
