Ah, but you add the vodka AFTER you cook it!!!!
Those Russians know better than to abuse good alcohol.

3 C. fresh blueberries
3 c. water
1 1/2 c sugar (oooo, that's a lot!)
1 large lemon, cut in half and seeded
1 2" cinnamon stick
1/3 c. vodka
3/4 c plain yogurt

Combine berries, water, sugar, lemon and cinnamon in large saucepan. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15 min.
Purée 2 c at a time in blender. Strain through fine sieve into serving bowl (I lose interest when you need to do stuff like this) Refrigerate, covered, for four hours.
Stir vodka in. Top with yogurt.
