Ideally, we should continue down for the bulk of the day and possibly into tomorrow. My best guess is that the index is in a B wave off the low we made July 24th with the fast rise to the top the A wave. The A wave is 3 waves, and the B wave should be too.

I think we just completed the b of B with this mornings fast rise as a 'c' wave. The entire b of B is outlined below in this DOW chart.

raptorgroupresearch.com

The fast rise yesterday was the 'a' of b, and the rest of the days chop was the 'b' of b in light blue, and this mornings rise in purple the 'c' of b.

If true, then we should be seeing a 5 wave decline for c of B and it looks like we have waves 1-2 already done this morning. Wave 1 has a nice 5 wave channel and wave 2 is in red on the chart above. Wave 3 down looks like it gas started and may be extended. As long as the DOW does not cross above 8344 before moving down hard again soon, then the pattern is intact as it looks like wave 2 of 3 of c may be working.

The alternative is that the move off the high is only going to be a 3 wave a-b-c as well and is now done, but we should only be getting another 3 wave move to the upside.
