I'm going to take the liberty to make some comments about this press release:
First, a new PR firm? That can be good, but two things stick out in my mind. One, how many shares/options/warrants are they getting to "push" this stock. Two, what does it mean they say this about the new PR firm: ". . . and have the resources to assist us in reaching our target audiences both in the US and internationally"? Do they plan to sell shares overseas? Does that mean Reg S or D or something? Again, I'd like to remind FTEL holders that this is truely what I wondered when I read this.
Second, why are they still hyping this little company with hardly any sales as if they are a "something"? I refer in particular to the following:
<<FTEL has an installed base of more than 100,000 nodes worldwide. Major customers include 3Com, IBM, Citibank, Tandem Computer, Oracle Corporation and the New York Stock Exchange.>>
Wow, doesn't that sound impressive? I'd love to have the dollar break-down of sales to each company. I'm also wondering what specificlly was sold to each company. With only about $ 200,000 in sales per quarter for FTEL in its entirety, the sales to each company must be minicule on a dollar basis.
Small companies often like to tout "affiliations" or sales to major companies, even if the affiliations or sales could be considered insignficant on an overall basis. It makes me wonder about the company when I hear hype like that. Again, another yellow flag in my mind.
FTEL: $ 5.28b $ 5.375a vol 71,500
