Skeeter, I understood from the conference call that all of their
contracts are for SDRAM and that EDO RAM has been going to the spot
market. $3.50 for SDRAM may not be unreasonable at this time. They
never said they would not sell EDO RAM for under $3.00 on the spot
market.

I came away with the impression that they were moving out their
inventory of EDO last quarter and that was why their bit sales were
up despite the test and assembly bottle neck for SDRAM. EDO inventory
may be minimal at this time.

They specifically said that SDRAM had been > 70% of wafer starts for
the last 2 months. Given that they aren't making more EDO RAM and
assuming that they flushed out most of their inventory last quarter,
EDO spot market pricing won't mean much to them going forward.

However, $3.50 for SDRAM will not make this quarter look good even
if it stabilizes at this price.
