grampa: This is so sad. Jim lost his son 4 years ago. It could not be determined if Jim Jr. had a car wreck or a heart attack first, but it seems like he had the heart attack first. Jim withdrew into severe depression. There were no children to carry on the lineage. Jim withdrew from church where he was a faithful attender, and his close friends that he had at church. He felt really badly a few weeks ago and went to the Dr. and was diagnosed with lung cancer in both lungs ( he never smoked ) and brain cancer.

He literally gave up after losing his son. I talked to him after ironically running into him the day he was having the Xrays taken in Radiology where I was being Xrayed.I know that God had me there for a reason.

Well you know me. I say never give up. Never. As long as there is life I do not give up. I pray that the Lord will restore Jim with hope and favor , and wellness, and a positive attitude. I rebuke the spirit of depression that has robbed him of so many joyful days. In Christ name. Amen.
