MPEG2 tape system. Is this like the JVC system, with no MPEG2 encode capability. MPEG2 decode is done through a settop box or with a decoder in the tape unit??

DVDS Tape Drive Selected by PC Week As One Of The Best New
Products at Comdex

COMDEX/Fall '97, Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 1997--Indigita Corporation's iDT2500 innovative multimedia tape drive was
recognized by PC Week as one of the best new products in the Best of Comdex competition.

The DVDS drive was selected in the best peripheral products category out of over 600 new product entries in the
competition. The PC Week Comdex Fall '97 event honors outstanding new products selected for innovation and leadership in
technology.

"We are pleased that PC Week recognized our new tape drive as one of the best new products displayed at Comdex," said
Mel Gable, president and chief executive officer of Indigita.

"Our DVDS technology brings new capabilities for interactive multimedia and video that no other tape drive has."

The iDT2500 can store up to 6 gigabytes on a standard 4mm tape cartridge and can record and playback MPEG-2 video
flawlessly. With Indigita's TapeTrax FS file management system the DVDS tape drive becomes a standard peripheral device
under Windows 95/98, enabling the user to drag and drop files from tape to disk and play video directly from tape.

Its performance and high capacity make DVDS perfect for use for direct satellite recording, distance learning, Web caching,
storing video libraries and archiving data files.
