This is germain to our investing-lol: I have been watching the reporters on the ground in Iraq and saw an interview last night with the guy who wrote "blow the house down?" and ex CIA guy. Michael Ware and Tim Bergen? and the guy I saw last night are all clearly telling the real true about Iraq i.e. there is NO solution, and ther eis nothign we can do. This drama will have to play itself out on the battle field. They are all saying the same thing. There is no solution at all. None! The whole situation over there is a fait accompli. So they all believe Iraq is going to devolve (very soon) into a horrible civil war and the counry will partition. And whether it happens today or next week the entire mid east will be in flames. Then add a strike on Iran--Iran is said to have their nuclear project ready by early spring. Irael has said unequivically they will not allow nuclear reactors in Iran to stand. Israel has 100 nuclear bombs. Taken together these two events will cause an unbeleivable conflagration in the middle east. That could make gold and oil prices soar and cause worldwide instability. No one nows how this will play out. but it is a very dangerous game.
