Man shot in chest confronting 2 taggers From the Associated Press 4:31 AM PDT, June 26, 2008 A businessman is hospitalized after being shot when he confronted two taggers in Los Angeles. Los Angeles police Officer Karen Smith said the man confronted the taggers Wednesday afternoon when they were vandalizing a wall near Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. One of the suspects pulled a gun and shot the victim once in the chest. A city fire spokeswoman said the victim was stable and taken to County-USC Medical Center. Police did not provide further information about the victim and continue searching for the suspects.
