Do you think that Schmidt would take all of those bonuses

if he wasn't about to produce an earnings surprise?

Or has that old Novell black magic (stuff it in your pockets while you can) overwhelmed his sense of proportions?

Certainly there is no justification for bonuses of that magnitude given the performance of this company to date under his leadership. I would be ashamed to take the money based on last year's performance. It's pure greed.

Not a good sign unless we see a blow out in earnings this quarter to justify it. It will tarnish his image.
