First it is not a vague evaluation theory and is useful in establishing a potential value on a deposit that will be economic at some specific base metal prices to be established later in a feasibility study. Exactly in the same way you will see gold analysts using numbers like US$25 (now) or $US100 (in 1996) per ounce of gold in the ground.
