McCain again pushes for action on climate change
AP

John McCain's speaking at a town hall meeting in Warren, Ohio at this hour -- and much of the conversation is about global climate change and what to do about it.

McCain is repeating statements he's made for months about how the country should address climate change, calling it a national security issue and saying the nation needs to explore a variety of alternative energy sources that don't emit greenhouse gases.

"I think there's enough compelling evidence today to lead us to address" climate change issues, even if reasonable people still argue over its causes and effects, McCain said.

"I am optimistic, but we've got to act, my friends, and to say that we're not going to do anything...I think is a disservice to the United States of America," he added.
