I have slandered only the ideological zealots who fear looking like idiots for going to such great lengths to deny and conceal the role of human activity in global climate change. There have for many years been notable individuals who have urged caution on drawing conclusions that could be misused by ideological zealots. That is why the consensus has emerged so slowly -- it has taken decades. But the consensus has now emerged, and as predicted we now see the zealots, like yourself, doing their best to launch a disinformation campaign in the hopes of scoring petty political points.
