....and the past president's were not fodder for the late night shows, bp?? As far as foreign affairs, most other heads of state probably have more respect for him now, than before the Monica incident. I don't agree with them....but they consider us juvenile & naive for making such a fuss over his dalliance. They don't have the Puritan history of our culture. As I said, I disagree with their view of love & marriage -- fidelity is extremely important. Maybe being an American woman makes the difference. Ann
