Hi Pete,
I believe that the real chaos and crisis will have to eminate from Washington as I have said. The public has to read and hear of major disruptions coming as a result of the failure of the Fed. Gov't to be Y2K compliant. I agree that there has been some front page news articles and Newsweek but not enough to scare anyone. As I suggested, ask your neighbor or fellow workers and you will soon realize that almost no one can tell you what the Y2K problem is all about.
The TOP in Y2K will not be this year. Some other signs of a top would be when every company that can spell software has a Y2K solution, companies announcing that they are going public, the whole group exploding to the upside, and last but not least, your neighbors and fellow workers discovering these stocks and how great an investment they just made! AMEN
