Geeze, MQ.... Now THAT'S a Leap! So you think John Wayne was a 'gorilla' eh?
I don't know what John Wayne's politics were (do you?) ... I'm talking ATTITUDE. We can figure out their thoughts and policies, IF we can stand them. The three I mentioned are hard to listen to, and after all the mayhem the MSM and others have caused this last 7+, I for one want to have someone who at least cares about this country, and has some life experience to go along with that.
I suggest NO such thing as a woman would be unfit to be President. That evidently is your own prejudice, not mine.
Remember Jean Kirkpatrick...? I would have voted for her not because she was a woman, but because she was smart, thoughtful, and I would have trusted her to do the right thing.
I'm reading Clarence Thomas's book "My Grandfather's Son" right now.... you might remember he was totally disadvantaged as a youngster, was raised by his Grandfather and Grandmother, in today, what our young people of today would think was at the bottom of the poverty scale. He had no one but himself to pay back his college loans. His family was Democrat, but he turned nearly as far Left as the Black Panthers until he came to his senses. And Thomas Sowell helped him realize that. Not quite finished with the book, but from what I've read so far, I've vote for Mr. Thomas in a heartbeat if we were ever fortunate enough to have him run. |
