Fair enough. I'm not too interested in solar, but that printing technology looks really cool. I hope it works out.

My preferred alternate energy is geothermal, since it works 24/7. The state now plans to auction geothermal leases here soon. Corrosion may be a concern as you warned, but I expect the long-run savings over high-priced fossil fuels can overcome the problem. Geothermal energy has been working for many years in Iceland, Indonesia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
