David,

A very interesting graphic was shown during the interview with Art Z.
Specifically it said,

UTEK has partnerships with suppliers, such as DuPont Photomasks Inc., and Photronics Inc..

This is the first public display that I've seen of a business relationship with DPMI. Hopefully, this will be a very big and profitable relationship.

Re: There was no real discussion of Ultrabeam or Verdant, other than a vague reference to new technologies acquired recently that look to do very well. IMHO, the CNBC guys seemed more focused on the bear story

Mark Haines used to disclose that he had personal holdings in AMAT prior to interviewing Morgan. For the past 6 months or so, there have been no disclosures prior to interviews. Perhaps, Mark is looking for opportunities to buy low.

To earlier poster (Bielski?) re UTEK stuffing the channels.

Pardon me.

UTEK sells directly to its customers.

The "channel" is a delivery truck.

Many companies offer a variety of financial options to their customers: Outright purchase, rental, lease, assistance in arranging 3rd party financing to having subs which will finance their customers' purchases. I don't see the connection with stuffing the channel...
