McCain could easily resolve this whole drilling thing by getting the Fed out of the oil business and leave it up to the states involved....

Okay. And how about this? Those states loaded with oil resource and who refuse to permit drilling, such as California, would have to buy their oil from foreign sources.

States who drill could provide their own supply and then choose, which states without an oil resource, to sell their remainder.

Naw, sounds too easy.
