How do we take down Iran?

Persia has always had a "Court/Bazaar" system of Government. The Mullahs replaced the "Court." If the Mullahs weren't running things, the Government would look like Egypt/Syria, Iraq. A mix of Socialism/Tribalism/Tyranny. The economy will remain "Bazaar" no matter what, a mechantilist system of protectionism with a lot of corruption. The military, in either case, would report to whatever "court" system exists.

So what do we want to accomplish? The stoppage of the building of nuclear weapons. That "building" consists of two parts. The "hardware" needed, buildings, material, etc, and the "software," the Scientists/Technicians needed to constuct the nukes. Attacking the Mullahs/Military/Bazaar doesn't get rid of the nukes.

We don't stand a chance in hell of finding and destroying all of the hardware. But we can get rid of the software. So our target should be the Scientists/Technicians.

We will use the Israelis if we go. And they are have the people in place to ID the Scientists/Technicians. Wiping out the people building the nukes can be done by a night raid.

When to go? If we are involved, the election will be critical. If Obams is elected, Bush would be inclined to go. If McCain is elected, he might wait.
