I've made a few adds (of course) and some subtracts today: Initiate MEG (Media General - newspapers/media). Low p/sales, p/bk Partial sales of PD and PCU. Upped AA a little. (Betting more on aluminum and less on copper) Initiate NICK (Nicholas Financial - small player in automobile loan business). Good profit margins, roe, okay p/e. Initiate NOK (Nokia). Market share, profit margins, p/e attract. Picked up cigar butt American International Industries (AMIN.ob - mishmash of businesses). Cash-in-search-of-a-business as they sell off real estate holdings. Added more Aber Diamond (ABER). A small bet on future of Harry Winston retail operation. Up BTE (Baytex Energy Trust - Canadian oil trust). Dividend (distribution) yield over 10%. Adding to VLO under $50/sh. finance.yahoo.com
