Sure you can Lindy: <I have been Mopeding here in Waikiki for seven years. I see the thread has become "all cell phone, all the time" today. You can't use one on a 'ped.>

You just need an ear piece and a voice activated system. Tarken-san uses that while driving and snow boarding. He said if sitting on a ski-lift and he suddenly starts talking, apparently to himself, the people sharing the ride can look a little concerned [a few years ago, but I suppose we are all used to seeing that these days - I recall thinking there were a lot of mad people around, jabbering to themselves, a few years ago when they first started being used].

I don't have such devices.

Mobile cyberspace is now the dominant cultural trend on Earth so it's appropriate that politics be dominated by it too. The process is going to accelerate, with lines drawn between Luddites, Statists, Individualists, Cyberspacoids ... China is going for suppression, California is going for Ludditist ways, it should be interesting how the world changes in response to mobile cyberspace.

The most important possession of many people, not just the young, is their cyberphone. Watch them sit at a bus stop and immediately get out their phone. As soon as people are alone, they grab their cyberspace na-na. It's a cultural norm to be connected. Deaf, dumb and blind is NOT an option.
