Comments on discovery phase expenses. This is significant considering that the three trials started as 1. During the discovery phase, lawyers try to find out as much as possible what the other side knows, requesting document after document. Both sides do this. Some try to obscure and not share much, some pursue a stratedgy of "snowing" that is burying the other side in paper, hoping to tye up their oponants team and hope they don't see the significant things in the midst of all the "snow", or a combination of the two. There is a good chance that much of the discovery phase has been completed for all of the issues. Not an attorney, but I did ace three semesters of business law and have successfully represented myself on several occasions.
