just take a look at last 15 days volume and explain me how 2M short could have covered.. total volume was 3,4M if they play legit they probably revolve the share from one account to the other by cross trade, remove the algo , MM, traders in and out multiple time, new investor ... add all those volume, which are not short covering, you can only conclude no way they covered, take also into account that some have short more to lower the price and try to cover at the bottom, but there was no volume at the bottom to cover on for the last week... this theory work well for small short position, not this one Good try but they are getting squeeze
