appreciate the post very much - do you know some other way to clear the registry than using their program - their program aborts with a runtime error 5 - it is my belief than everything is sorta half registered now....

alos, regards to restoring .... the ir rep said to save the "auto backup folder" (whatever that is) so as to be able to reinstall my scans - any thoughts on this ??
