Well you said a mouth full. You know how I feel about manipulation! <g>

I use indexes to determine how the above mentioned expect John Q. Public to feel/react. That is why I use my own indicators for buy and sell signals. And, use broad based indicators such as the 200 day SMA, for J.Q. Public sentiment.
