Mr. Answer Man,

Is there any way to keep advertisers from making my browser spawn mini-browser ads every time I go to a new website? Also, I'm getting automatically logged off MSN's Instant Messenger about every 11 minutes, as are several of my friends. Is this a recognized widespread problem, and are there any patches available?
