re....but do you know if the scientists know if the gas was methane released from hydrates or from something else (leftover carbon material from plant and animal life of eons gone by) I know not....................... the details will appear...soon I hope giving the aversion towards all things Russian now... (Mammoth Tundra Map...) for a very long time... the now extinct..mega fauna...ate and converted ..(chemically) the plants that lived in this once.. Worlds Largest Biosphere ever since these great beasts..'died off'.. their..once prolific food stuffs... have been stored as..methane....cathrates......bits of undigested fodder.. as it warms up ...there..they are atmosphere bound............... enabling..more heat to be ...stored..in the aerial ocean......... It's.... Atmospheric Chemistry/Physics.... Accepted...established...ruled on by GWB's..Supreme Court
