LL, He was commissioned a British Brigadier General and commanded troops in the southern states, especially South Carolina. His #1 task was to stop the guerilla activities of Frances Marion, The Swamp Fox, and he did that.

No more comments about my military exploits other than to say I was a dedicated friend of The Prague Spring and an enemy of haircuts. I did shine my boots and clean my weapons, but I still do that.
