Okay. I misread. I thought you were looking for a unifying atheist idea. I'm not sure there is a "positive" universal atheist idea beyond a refutation of God. The next step would be "Okay - our ball." From there - the sky's the limit. I suspect atheism is deliberately not further delimited once the refutation has been stated. >Maybe from reflection on the data of their life experiences? The human mind seems compelled to create and/or recognize patterns--don't these meld to form our individual philosophies regarding the nature of existence?< Probably. It sure rings true to me. But then we are right back up against a thousand answers for a thousand participants. >E has stated she is an atheist, as has Craig, and perhaps Steven.< It's hard to be much of anything with a memory like mine :-)
