next reading lesson. I have in front on me a news release of a company that has Nothing to do with IPM, EXCEPT the geology:
"The project geology consists of prorphry intrusives of dacite, quartz mononite/diorite and composition." (call the last one a ? maybe granite). The rest are on the ol' IPM map. ..."Gold min. occurs in all three prophry intrusives either as stockworks or as disseminated mineralization. Anomalous gold min, in some cases exceding 10 G/T , occur over a 2,300 X 800 meter area and over a vertical extent of at least 650 meters. makingXXXXXXX an exceptionally potentially big gold target"........Prior a disscription of the Bre-X deposite exists in the release and I can't figure out if it actually refers to the above, "Zones min is similiar to the giant deposites of Lihir Island in Papua New Guinea and Busang in Indonesia ( both plus 50 million oz deps.) where mineralization occurs in epithermal systems within a regional structure of porphyritic intrusives. The prophyritic intrusive at Busang is DACITE the same as ........."
IPM annual report, Page 6 has a chart with Dacite, Porphyry,as along with Quartz and Pyrite which are mentioned but I did not quote indicate to me that "class is in session." Not back to school; ON to graduation!<<<<GGGG>>>>
